NICCEE Celebrates the UMCES Centennial

Last week, the Global Nitrogen Innovation Center for Clean Energy and the Environment (NICCEE) joined the University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science (UMCES) in celebrating 100 Years of Science and Innovation. The event, held at the Baltimore Museum of Industry, brought together researchers, students, and partners to reflect on a century of progress and to look ahead to the next 100 years of environmental leadership.

NICCEE undergraduate intern Jason Haley shared an immersive VR tool that allows users to explore green ammonia in agriculture, and graduate student Anikka Fife shared spoken remarks reflecting the university’s commitment to fostering collaboration, advancing sustainability science, and supporting the next generation of leaders.
A heartfelt thank you to UMCES for hosting such a memorable event, and congratulations on a century of groundbreaking science!
