Information Hub

NICCEE Core Function

The Information Hub will provide a state-of-the-art and up-to-date data platform of N flows related to agriculture, food, and energy systems  for countries around the world and a suite of modeling tools to support decision making by stakeholders on green ammonia use for food and energy.

Leveraging the wide range and unique combinations of expertise and models in the project team, as well as the pilot tests in the Innovation Platform, the Information Hub will develop modeling tools to support the co-development of green ammonia strategies on multiple spatial scales, from feasibility and impact assessment on farms to sustainability (including economic and environmental) impact assessment from regional to global scales.

Circle divided in 3 parts: Innovation (red), Information (yellow), Education (green). An overview of NICCEE activities. Activities in the inner circle will take place in the lead institution UMCES. Activities in the shaded outer rings will occur in each partner country (i.e., U.S., Canada, U.K.). Blue arrows indicate connections among activities.
